Pawthorize is a pet passport system that eliminates the hassle of verifying vaccination records. We collect and verify pet vaccination records directly from veterinarians, ensuring that each pet’s passport is always up to date. Your team simply checks the pet’s passport upon check-in, instantly confirming vaccination status and reducing administrative burden.
For clients who do not already have any existing Pawthorize passport, we recommended having them register their pet 72 hours before their first visit. This allows our initial vaccination verification to take place (and accounts for weekends). After the initial registration, we keep the records up-to-date so you can always verify instantly.

No, Pawthorize is completely free for hosts. Pet guardians pay a fee for their pet passport, but once they have one, they can use it anywhere at no additional cost.
Guests can share their pet’s unique ID, display their pet passport on their device, or provide you with the pet’s unique URL. You can instantly verify their vaccination status by checking the guest’s device, visiting the unique URL, or by entering their Pet ID and Passcode into our website to ensure accuracy. No account is required! Simply inform guests that they need an active Pawthorize pet passport. Upon check-in, they can either show their pet’s passport on their device or provide their Pet ID and Passcode for verification at Pawthorize.com/verify.
You may still accept traditional vaccination records at your discretion, but we recommend encouraging guests to register with Pawthorize for a more standardized and efficient process in the future.
